This amazing picture is the view across Kerry Ridge which forms part of The Rotary Across Wales Walk. The Rotary Clubs of Newtown, Llanidloes and Machynlleth join together to organise this annual event that takes in the magnificent scenery of mid-Wales. The complete walk is 42 miles, but it is possible to do shorter sections of 26, 16 or 6 miles.
Now, by her own admittance, Pete’s niece Molly is not quite as fit as her gran Kate Williamson (Pig’s Mother in Law), so she’ll be walking the 26 miles, instead of running it.
Starting in Staylitte in Powys, Molly will hike her way across the stunning mid-Wales scenery and finish in Anchor, Shropshire while raising lots of much needed money in memory of Pod and Pig.
We wish her only good things and send lots of love and blessings her way for a successful and enjoyable walk.
